Past Tense
The past tense is very simple to form in Ukrainian. You simply remove the suffix of the verb and replace it with an ending corresponding to the gender of the subject.
For verbs ending with the -ати suffix:

Examples:
- Що ти робив на вихідних? (spoken to a man)- What did you do over the weekend?
